 clair State University from November 18-21st. Arcadia, on the Royal In
 stitution’s 2006 shortlist for “best science book ever written,”
  investigates the relationships between the past and present, intimacy
  among people and the certainty of science. Astonishing in its breadth
 , Arcadia travels seamlessly between 1809 and the present, embracing e
 lements of haunting romantic tragedy, suspenseful mystery, and hilario
 us sex farce. Tom Stoppard’s dazzling comic masterpiece is among the
  most intelligent and poignantly human plays of our time.\n\nThis prod
 uction of Arcadia, directed by Susan Kerner, with dramaturgy by Neil B
 aldwin, features performances from students in Montclair State Univers
 ity’s Department of Theatre and Dance.\n\nCritically acclaimed direc
 tor Susan Kerner has worked internationally in theaters from London to
  Shanghai as well as in major regional houses across the country. She 
 is a noted faculty member in Montclair State University's College of t
 he Arts. Neil Baldwin is professor of dramaturgy, theater criticism, a
 nd arts administration in the College of the Arts at Montclair State U
 niversity. His 1997 screenplay on Man Ray, for WNET-13’s “American
