The closing of NJ schools has turned most of New Jersey's educators into virtual teachers. This online live webinar will share research, tips, tools, and best practices for increasing student engagement in the online environment, whether you are teaching synchronously or asynchronously. This class is recommended for teachers of middle and high school educators. Dr. Bachenheimer's school district ran the first virtual day in New Jersey in 2015 and he has also taught in the MSU Online Master's program in Educational Leadership for several years. Dr. Bachenheimer was a a MSU Engaged Teaching Fellow during the 2018-19 school year with a focus on online student engagement.
