In this session, participants will develop a “Justice Lens” in order to analyze educational and curricular issues.  We will discuss a framework entitled “The Four I’s of Oppression and Advantage” which breaks down issues of injustice through 4 lenses: Ideological, Institutional, Interpersonal and Internalized.  This workshop will focus specifically on racial oppression and advantage.  Participants will have the opportunity to apply this framework to their own curriculum and to think about how their teaching can move toward racial justice.
