DESCRIPTION:Montclair State University is pleased to announce its EdD 
 program in Teacher Education and Teacher Development\n\nThe EdD in Tea
 cher Education and Teacher Development is the first of its kind in the
  region--and one of only a few in the country--and is based on the mos
 t current research in teacher preparation and learning. It builds on M
 ontclair State University’s nationally recognized programs in teache
 r preparation, and provides a unique opportunity for those who wish to
  become future leaders in the preparation and development of teachers.
 \n\nProgram graduates will seek employment in colleges and universitie
 s, schools and school districts, state agencies, professional developm
 ent organizations, and foundations as academic faculty members, resear
 chers, school and district leaders and supervisors, staff developers, 
 education policymakers, and consultants.\n\nApplications are first bei
 ng accepted for Fall 2010. The application deadline for each fall seme
