TITLE: Evidence-Based Conversation

Educators will participate in collaborative team-based research cycles that provide environments and tools for analyzing data, discussing areas of improvement and potential solutions, and than creating concrete and actionable next steps to solve problems and achieve intended outcomes.
Core Session Objectives:
- Understand the definition of research cycles and collaborative teams
- Utilize data about teaching practice and student learning to identify specific areas of focus for dialogue with colleagues
- Learn the protocols, procedures, and actions associated with panning for and executing high quality conversations
- Learn to produce concrete and actionable next steps directly related to feedback
- Identify data sources, an appropriate research cycle, and a collaborative team structure to utilize within a school to implement these protocols

In order to improve their own professional skills, classroom practices, and impact on students, educators must constantly use evidence of quality and progress to drive productive collaboration with colleagues.
