 : First Steps to Spending, Sharing and Saving\nDecember 2, 2011\n8:30 
 am - 3:30 pm\nRoom 1145, ADP Center, University Hall\nMontclair State 
 University\n  This workshop is designed to help early childhood educ
 ators use dialogical teaching approaches with their students with a go
 al toward developing their capacity to make critical decisions and con
 siderations around the concepts of Spending, Sharing and Saving. In th
 e workshop, teachers will be introduced to a new curriculum designed b
 y the folks at Sesame Workshop and exposed to the Community of Inquiry
  approach to facilitating classroom discussions. Upon completion of th
 e workshop all teachers will be provided curriculum packets to distrib
 ute to students in their class and offered an on-site follow-up visit 
 by the workshop instructor in support of their efforts. Additional sup
 port materials will be offered to help start up the particular For Me,
  for You, for Later projects developed by teachers.\nThe full-day work
 shop will explore the following themes:\n1. For Me, For You, For Late
 r and Philosophy of Value, Saving and Sharing\n2. Designing Community
  of Inquiry-based Discussion Plans\n3. Development of Site-Based Fina

 al development hours to participants who attend the entire workshop.\n
