Course: Introduction to 6 Trait Writing for Grades K-5

Course Description: This workshop is for teachers who are novices to the 6 Trait Writing method. It will provide an overview of each trait and their rubrics, tips from creator Ruth Culham, practice in creating lessons from literature and a video presentation of a 6 Trait lesson in action.

Please note: MSUNER is a registered provider of Professional Development for the state's 100-hour requirement. You must attend a mini course in its entirety to receive recognition of professional development hours toward the state requirement.
