SUMMARY:MSUNER Teacher Incentive Grants
DESCRIPTION:The Montclair State University Network for Educational Ren
 ewal is offering the MSUNER Teacher Incentive Grant for the 2010-2011 
 school year. The purpose of this grant is to encourage teachers to enh
 ance student learning. To accomplish this, a teacher can experiment wi
 th new teaching strategies, improve skills, develop a class project, e
 tc. This grant is for a teacher who would like to work on a specific s
 hort-term project. All you need is an idea.\n\nHere are a few examples
  to start you thinking:\n• Using Music and Movement to Embed Learnin
 g\n• I’m an Entomologist\n• Using Film Study to Enhance Literacy
  Instruction\n• Wii Academy\n• Fun with Fractions\n\nProjects will
  be funded in the range of $100 – $200, depending on the project. Fu
 nding may only be used for resources. The grant will give you a chance
  to try out a new initiative. If you think about it, you try out new i
 deas every year. Why not take this opportunity to receive some funding
  for your idea.\n\nThis request for proposals (RFP) outlines the requi
 rements for Network funding. If you have any questions after reading t

 be submitted electronically. To submit your proposal online, click her
 e.\n\nThere will be two submission dates for the 2010 – 2011 school 
 year:\nFall submission: proposals will be accepted through October 20,
  2010, with notification of awards made by October 29, 2010.\nJanuary 
 submission: proposals will be accepted through January 18, 2011, with 
 notification of awards made by January 28, 2011.\n\nA committee will r
 eview all proposals. Selection will be based on how strongly the proje
 ct affects student learning and achievement. Grants will be distribute
 d throughout the Network.\n\nProposal requirements:\n1. Active Clinica
 l Faculty status is required.\n2. A brief written report will be due a
 t the completion of the project but no later than June 1, 2011. The re
 port will include a log of expenditures and receipts.\n3. Proposals wi
