Social stories infuse literacy skills with real-world experiences. They are a super fun way to allow students to personalize and make a connection - to their learning and to peers. Stories can be about going to the dentist, asking a friend to play, a field trip experience, etc. Using Google Chromebooks, teachers will learn how to and get practice creating a Social Story. They will observe data that shows the benefits of using social stories in their academic lessons to benefit students letter and word identification.
