Workshop Overview
This 2-day workshop is designed to deepen teachers’ understanding of inclusive teaching through theoretical principles and practical applications of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), differentiated instruction, curriculum, and assessment, and strategies for student access, engagement, and participation. Workshop topics will include a variety of specific instructional models and strategies, assessment for learning, and positive behavioral supports. Facilitators will engage teachers in an in-depth exploration of identifying and addressing the instructional challenges of teaching students with diverse academic, sensory, emotional, and behavioral needs.
