Think that "tweeting" is simply for keeping up with celebrities or sports figures? Think again! Twitter is a fabulous resource in school for teacher professional development, student communication, collaboration, and interaction. Participants will learn how to set up a Twitter account, how to follow (and who to follow), how to use Twitter to obtain personal professional development, and ways to use Twitter in middle and high school classrooms with students. The course will also talk about Digital Citizenship and online social media safety. Participants should come to class with a media device (laptop, tablet, or smart phone).

Appropriate for teachers of all subjects, Grades 6-12.
