ve your storytelling skills, learn techniques to think quickly on your
feet and to be more creative. This spirited, fun course is for anyone
who wants to learn the essentials of good scenic improvisation or any

g, warm-up exercises, creative performance games and basic short-form
scene-work, you will learn how to be more spontaneous, trusting and co
operative and how to listen in a fun, creative atmosphere. We will als
o draw from viewing professional improv media such as “Whose Line is
It Anyway” and other shows. Teachers will also develop ideas for im
provisations to be used in their own classes, and try them out with th
eir colleagues during the workshop.\r\nThis workshop is appropriate fo
r all levels and subjects, K-12. Based upon the presentation, particip
ants can adapt and adjust their own lessons. Those who complete the cl
ass will get a certificate for three professional development hours.\r
