I earned my M.Ed in Educational Leadership from the Global Education Program with The College of New Jersey in Mallorca, Spain, in July 2014. I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Health and Physical Education in 2009 from MSU.
In my current role, I am responsible for the instructional vision of the Early Childhood, Elementary and Middle School Divisions, specifically focusing on collaboration, differentiated learning and technology-integrated instruction at Sacred Heart of Jesus School in Midtown, Manhattan.
I lead an international staff of 35 teachers and aides, manage human capital issues across the continuum (teacher and principal mentorship, recruitment, evaluation, leadership, comprehensive professional development, retention and career pathways) and supervise the delivery of instruction to a diverse and international student body of 260 students in grades pre-kindergarten3 through grade 8. Our school is also proud to be involved in the New York City Department of Education's Pre-K for All initiative.
Prior to this role, I served in an administrative capacity as a technology coach and curriculum coordinator. My teaching background is in health, physical education, dance, Spanish and ESL. My areas of research and expertise are multicultural education, technology integration, service learning and differentiated instruction.
