Dr. Barry Bachenheimer

Conflict is an unfortunate part of many aspects of life, but conflict can also be an opportunity to grow and learn about other's perspectives.  Participants in this workshop will learn skills and tactics related to conflict resolution, mediation, and negotiation, and then put these skills into practice role-playing historical and literary figures who have been involved in historical conflict!  By listening to learn in this hands-on workshop,  conflict resolution examples in history can provide lessons for those facing and escalating  difficult disputes. This workshop is primarily recommended for teachers of social studies and english, but teachers of any discipline may attend.  Maximum:  20 participants.
