TITLE: Teachers as Scholars: The Sixties: An Interdisciplinary Perspective

DATE: December 6 and 13, 2013

TIME: 8:30-3:30

LOCATION: University Hall, Ferraro Lounge

INSTRUCTOR: Gregory Waters, Ph.D.

This workshop is designed to help teachers who are planning a new course on the 60s, as well as those who wish to introduce new topics in an existing class. The workshop will focus on the politics, history and culture of the period, using literature, film and music to illuminate important themes. We will also consider the lasting influence of the 1960s on contemporary politics and culture.
