This hands-on workshop will address 7 strategies that will significantly improve student understanding in world language and ESL classes. Activities will examine participants' current practices and model how to use the 7 strategies to increase student comprehension. References and materials will be shared. Although the course will be conducted in English, Spanish samples will be used. This mini course is suitable for K-12 ESL and world language teachers.
