Green Energy Education: Wind and Solar Workshop

Join PicoTurbine, a green energy education company located in Jersey City, NJ since 1998, for a Wind and Solar workshop for educators in Grades 5-12.

When: April 1, 2011, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Where: The ADP Center, Room 1120, University Hall, Montclair State University

(A continental breakfast will be available at 8:30 am. Lunch is on your own. Parking in the Red Hawk Deck is $3.75 for the day.) 

At this hands-on workshop, participating educators will learn about PicoTurbine’s introductory education units in Wind and Solar Energy. Each participant will receive the following learning materials for demonstrations in their own classrooms:

• Wind Curriculum Guide
• Wind Turbine Kit
• Solar Curriculum Guide
• Solar Education Kit

As an added bonus participants will also be exposed to future PicoTurbine learning materials. Don’t miss out on this opportunity--as green energy education is the future!

Participants attending the workshop in its entirety will receive recognition of 5 professional development hours toward the state requirement. MSUNER regrets that it cannot grant any professional development hours if you are absent from any portion of the workshop.
